Product Description
The Apex Instruments XD-502 is a digital isokinetic source sampling console used to monitor gas velocities, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates. It weighs about 37–40 lbs (a 50% reduction from older models) and features a sunlight-readable transflective display, a 4-button keypad, and a Peak 32 microcontroller
Specifications
- Display: Transflective LCD with backlight; 4 lines, 20 characters per line (clearly readable outdoors).
- Microcontroller: Peak 32 with adjustable signal dampening to ensure stable ΔP and ΔH readings.
- Dry Gas Meter: Model SK25EX with a 100 CPR quadrature encoder.
- Temperature Measurement: 8-channel Type-K thermocouple input with electrical isolation for each channel.
- Pressure Transducers: Digital type; measures bidirectional differential pressure (ΔP) within ranges of ±1.0 inches of water (±249 Pa) and ±10.0 inches of water (±2491 Pa).
- Vacuum Gauge: Digital display; measurement range of 0 to 30 inches of mercury ("Hg) or 0 to 100 kPa.
- Pump: Internal diaphragm pump (a pump-less model is available for use with external systems).
- Electrical System: Supports 120VAC/60Hz or 240VAC/50Hz power supply.
- Compatibility: Supports all isokinetic sampling methods, including OTM-45 for PFAS sampling.
